Why we set the KPIs before we design anything
In the first phase — Think — we agree the KPIs we'll be measured against. Before wireframes. Before a single design decision.
It sounds procedural. It's actually what makes measurement possible at all. You can't prove a lift you never established a baseline for.
It also makes the retainer inevitable: once you've instrumented what you built, of course you then improve it.
